How a search actually runs

The discipline decides part of the workflow, but most of it is the same across the board. Whether the role is a senior accountant for a Cincinnati holding company or a customer success manager for a Bay-Area SaaS startup, we follow the same organized, written process so nothing slips.

1. Discipline-specific intake

If it is a finance role, we know which certifications matter and which comp brackets a CPA-track candidate sits in. If it is healthcare admin, we know the difference between a billing specialist and a coder. We come prepared, not script-reading.

2. Comp calibration against the market

Every shortlist is calibrated against current US comp data plus what we are seeing live across the desk this week. Hybrid vs. remote vs. in-office, total comp vs. base, signing bonuses, RSU schedules — all factored in. If the band looks low for the role, we tell you before we start.

3. Vetted, ranked shortlist

Three to six candidates per search. Right-to-work, references, background checks and skills validation completed before introduction. Each candidate scored 1–5 against the brief with written notes.

4. Offer and onboarding support

We coordinate the offer, manage counter-offers, line up the start date, and check in at week 2, 6 and 12 to make sure the placement is holding.

Disciplines we deliberately do not run

Senior corporate executive search above $250k base, clinical healthcare roles, legal partner searches, and pure white-collar tech leadership roles sit best with sector specialists. We will tell you within one call if a search is not the right fit so you can place it where it lands fastest.
